·      Collected homework (chart and questions on page 14). Reviewed Icarus and read Williams’s poem together as a class. Discussed chart and homework.

·      Greek Drama: Out of Ritual – Background on Greek drama (Annotate individually)  (15)

·      Text coding simple observations with class – write others’ observations and your reaction (10) Discussed as a class (10)

·      Read Oedipus with partners/answer questions on worksheet – there will be a quiz on this!

·      When finished, we worked on understanding civil disobedience through and Antigone anticipation guide.
