Day 9 B – 9/21/10

·      Understanding Greek tragedy

·      Bellwork: Any questions on the readings. Discussed.

·      As a class, review page 21 and what a tragic hero/tragic flaw is.

·      Discussed Prologue, Paragos and Scene 1 and answered questions from reading guide.

·      Translating Greek Tragedy into modern language Read Scene 2 with partners. When finished, groups were assigned a group of lines to translate into modern language and present to the class.

·      Will have a quiz after scene 3
