·      Quiz corrections – ½ point for each corrected answer. (Students could use book)

·      Understanding theme

·      Finish theme packet – find one modern example of each theme. When finished, find six peers to tell you their example and initial.

·      Discussed themes found in Antigone

·      Understand and recognize tragic hero traits and identify in Antigone

·      Read tragic hero, page 67 and annotated.

·      Begin paper prewriting – who is the tragic hero of Antigone ­­

Homework: Complete tragic hero chart, using examples from the text.
